GreenCitizen supported selected fundraising events for schools and worthwhile charities to help their communities and their good causes.

Our Sponsored Free E-waste Events can benefit California school districts and various non-profit organizations by significant dollars in collections and donations.

In order for a Free E-Waste Event to run smoothly, GreenCitizen requires three things from the hosting school or non-profit organization. These are:

A centrally-located venue. A proper sized and conveniently located venue, as discussed and agreed upon between the hosting organization and GreenCitizen.
Four (4) to six (6) volunteers. Between four and six volunteers at all hours of the event are needed in order to properly facilitate traffic management, e-waste collection and clean-up activities.
Grassroots marketing. Lastly, a grassroots marketing campaign is essential to the success of a Free E-Waste Event. This can be accomplished through the distribution of fliers, advertisements on billboards, or notification to residents through state-sanctioned mailings such as utility bills.
