GreenCitizen™ Chosen as Finalist
in Excellence in Marketing Awards
San Francisco,
California, June 19, 2007— GreenCitizen™ was recently chosen as a finalist in the Excellent
in Marketing Awards organized by the San Francisco
Chapter of the American Marketing Association (SFAMA).
The event was held at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel
on May 17 and connects Fortune 500 companies and
their multimillion dollar marketing budgets with
small family run organizations whose marketing
efforts impact the local community.
Each year the SFAMA honors Bay Area companies
whose marketing achievements rate the highest distinction
in five categories:
- The Next Big Thing
- The Global Image Leader
- The Change Master
- Excellence in Community Service; and
- Excellence in Nonprofit Marketing.
The goal of the SFAMA Chapter is to add value to
our 600-member association by bringing in high
profile companies to discuss cutting edge marketing
issues and innovations in marketing.
2007 winners include Exploratorium for the Excellence
in Nonprofit Marketing, Sun Microsystems for Global
Image Leader, Safeway for the Change Master, YouTube
for Next Big Thing and Grey Advertising for the
Excellence in Community Service.
