COMPUTER & ELECTRONICS RECYCLING IN A CONVENIENT, ACCOUNTABLE, AND SAFE WAY

GreenCitizen helps individuals and organizations recycle electronics responsibly. We provide convenient, affordable and responsible solutions that make it easy for everyone to do their part to help save the environment from harmful electronic waste.

At GreenCitizen, we want to make recycling electronics so easy that you'll make it a part of your everyday routine. For our part, we'll be working with the most trusted recyclers and environmentally committed partners to ensure that the electronics you place in our hands will be stewarded to their safest disposal.

Unparalleled Convenience
Our one-stop Silicon Valley and San Francisco Drop-Off Centers are open daily to take all your electronic recyclables from batteries and printer cartridges, to TVs and computer systems. When you're there, pick up GreenCitizen Collector Boxes -- take-home units that help you save smaller recyclables--such as batteries, CD/DVDs and printer cartridges--until you're ready to recycle them. You can schedule a pick-up of your electronic recyclables right from your home or office.

We also have GreenCitizen kiosks located near you where smaller recyclables--such as batteries, CD/DVDs and printer cartridges can be dropped off free of charge!

Responsible Recycling
Not every electronics recycler is a responsible recycler. That's why America's landfills contain millions of tons of e-waste, and why over 50 percent of the electronics collected in the United States for recycling is shipped overseas. At GreenCitizen, we partner only with recyclers of the highest standards, who comply with the best practices in the industry today.

Total Accountability
Today the electronics de-manufacturing and recycling industry lacks standards and accountability. GreenCitizen is creating an accountability system that tracks every unit recycled through us. Manufacturers, retailers, environmentalists and government will be able to measure the success of their investments and efforts to support electronics recycling.

Global Understanding
We believe the better people understand the issues surrounding electronics recycling, the more committed they will become to helping solve the problem. So read more on our website and visit our Drop-Off Center to learn more. We hope you'll see why it's so important that each of us step up to this responsibility.
